Dear Supporters:

I wanted to come to you today just to check in on you and your loved ones, since the health and safety of my neighbors has always been my main concern as a public servant, and while I may not be in elected office, that leadership and caring gene ingrained in my spirit has never gone away, and your well-being remains my #1 priority.

I wanted to also remind you about emergency resources available to city residents as we move forward in these uncertain times during this COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. Things are changing daily, as this crisis is a very fluid process as it relates to protecting the health and safety of residents while also trying to provide the necessary resources to all city residents.

If you are a parent of school-aged child, there are daily breakfast and lunch grab-and-go free meals being offered at seventeen different school locations across the city, as well as snacks and dinner meals being offered at one of the city’s forty recreation centers. You can find all those times and locations, as well download your child’s learning packets from the city school’s website at: www.baltimorecityschools.org

There is also an interactive map on the city’s Health Department website, that shows you all the food distribution sites citywide, where you can type in your address to see the closest facility to you, found at: www.bit.ly/38XqBp2 However, if you are in need of a ride for medication pick and delivery, transportation to your nearest food pantry or in need of any other community resource, please feel free to reach out to my offices at: 443.708.2792 we are more than willing to assist you during these very trying times.

The coming weeks will be difficult for everybody. We need to stand together to get through this pandemic, understanding that we are stronger when we stand united ready to tackle head-on the challenges that face us. As always, you and the City of Baltimore are in my daily prayers, we will get through this TOGETHER!

Yours in Service,

Sheila Dixon
